Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tidemark Studio (“Tidemark”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and safeguards your personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be plain about what we do with it.
1. Who we are
Tidemark is a software studio based in India. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at tidemark.official@gmail.com. We act as the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and as the data controller for visitors covered by the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), for the personal data described here.
2. Information we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us:
- Contact form. When you complete the form on our contact page, we collect your name, email address, and any company name, project type, and message you provide.
- Direct email. If you email us, we receive whatever information is contained in your message.
- Bookings. If you book a call, that scheduling is handled by Cal.com on their own platform under their privacy policy.
We do not run advertising or analytics tracking, and we do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set first-party tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics cookies. Because no non-essential cookies are used, we do not display a cookie consent banner. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading the site does not call out to third-party font services. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and request consent where the law requires it.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you.
- To scope, propose, and (if we work together) deliver project work.
- To keep records of our communications and agreements.
Under the GDPR, our legal bases are your consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, or taking steps to enter into a contract at your request.
5. Service providers
We share data only with the providers that operate this site and our communications:
- Web3Forms processes contact-form submissions and delivers them to our inbox.
- Cal.com handles call bookings if you choose to schedule one.
- Our hosting provider serves the website and may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
- Email/Google stores and delivers the messages you send us.
We never sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
We keep enquiry and correspondence data only as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records, after which we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to object to or restrict its processing; and to withdraw consent. Under India's DPDP Act, 2023, you may access, correct, and erase your data, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with us — and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India. Under the GDPR/UK GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — note that we do not sell or share it. To exercise any right, email tidemark.official@gmail.com.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we use reputable providers with their own security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10. Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children. Consistent with India's DPDP Act, we do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
